Windows Firewall block all incoming connections
Sometimes we come to situation where we don’t want others to connect with our system for security purpose or some other reason. In that case we need to block all incoming connections. When you block all the incoming connections of particular computer, then other’s can’t connect to that particular computer or system even though that computer is in the same network. So here we will see how to block all incoming connections.
1)Two computer or systems have considered here For better understanding of Blocking all the incoming connections. Here we will block all the incoming connections of computer whose IP address is 192.168.1.65. As the incoming connections of IP address 192.168.1.65 is not blocked, so when you try to connect 192.168.1.65 IP address, you will get easily connected . when incoming connections of particular system is not blocked and if you ping to that particular system you will get ping reply from that particular system which is shown in below image.
2)To block all the incoming connections, please Press Windows+R of your computer.
3)Type firewall.cpl in Open field and Click OK.
4)Click on Turn Windows Defender Firewall on or off
5)If you tick Block all incoming connections of Private and Public network then others computer can’t connect to your system. If you don’t tick Block all incoming connections of Private and Public network then others computer can connect to your system.
6) For Blocking all incoming connections please tick Block all incoming connections of Private and Public network which is shown below.
After selecting ticks, please click on OK
7)Incoming connections of 192.168.1.65 IP address is blocked. now if you try to ping IP address 192.168.1.65 then you will not get ping reply as all incoming connections are blocked which is shown below. Ping doesn’t work when incoming connections are blocked.
